Lamdin Sussex October 2005
A lovely cottage with a warm friendly welcome. Beautiful setting a a luxurious feel to it.
Lots of good walking in the surrounding area
and a very tired happy dog at the end of the holiday!
Miss Staff, Salisbury, Wiltshire April 2006
The cottage was situated in an amazing setting. It was decorated fantastically
and had everything we needed to make it a perfect holiday.
Miss Sims, Bristol, South Glos April 2006
Although the weather was atrocious, it did not matter, as we knew we would be returning to a cosy cottage
where we were provided with ample fuel for the multi-fuel burner which kept us beautifully warm.
The owner was very helpful in instructing us how to use the multi-fuel burner
and we felt as though nothing was too much trouble for them.
They were extremely good hosts and made our stay very enjoyable - thank you very much.
Mr Stell, Winscombe, Somerset May 2006
It was the attention to detail that we really liked. The cottage was light, warm and airy.
It was nice that we were allowed to walk on the owner's farm, which was good for our Labrador.
Mr Dean, Maidstone, Kent Jun 2006
thought the location and setting were exceptional. The brochure does not do the place justice.
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
Mr Amphlett, Burry Port, Carmarthenshire Nov 2006
A very tastefully decorated conversion, extremely cosy with good facilities.
The owners were very friendly and welcoming. No problem with two large dogs.
Fantastic views, a very relaxing place to spend a week, or indeed much longer!
Mr Piper, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Dec 2006
Very friendly welcome on arrival, tea & home made cake provided. Beautiful walks, scenery & views from cottage.
Very accommodating for our small dog also.
We would definitely return there
Miss Gorbutt, Southampton, Hampshire Mar 2007
The cottage was just perfect and worthy of the praise given by previous visitors.
Views from the garden were incredible along with the surrounding countryside.
Located within easy reach of the North Devon coast.
The owner's cake alone was worth our 4 hour journey from Essex.

The cottage was very nicely furnished and comfortable, and the kitchen was practical.
The owners were kind enough to let our dogs out for a spell when we went out for the day.
Mrs Topping, Sheffield, S.Yorks Oct 2006
The cottage has an extremely efficient wood/coal burner, which was lovely to light at the end of a day out.
The fire was roaring on the Saturday we arrived.
Mr Phillips, Stoke-on-trent, Staffordshire Oct 2006
Beautifully cared for cottage. Ideal for dogs with fully enclosed garden and use of owner's land for walks.
Cottage cosy and warm even in February.
Miss Mathers, Guston, Kent Feb 2007
A beautiful, character-filled cottage in the middle of undisturbed Devon - the perfect getaway!
A walk through the privately-owned woodland alongside was also quite an experience
  - birds of prey, rabbits, deer - all seen within 15 minutes!
Being woken to the sound of lambs in the morning was fantastic,
as was being able to see a myriad of stars at night (being away from the city lights).
A special mention about the owners too - we received a very warm welcome and they also provided
an extremely thorough (personalised) guide for visitors which we got plenty of ideas from!
Mr Wootton, Blackburn, Lancashire Apr 2007
