The small print
Conditions of booking:-
The hirer by making a booking confirms acceptance the terms and conditions below.
We reserve to charge for exceptional use of electricity at 10p/unit by meter reading. For week long stays and short breaks, the first £10 worth of electricity is free. Dogs £15 per week or £10 per short break. 2 dogs maximum unless arranged otherwise.
All linen, and tea towels are provided. You should bring your own towels. We can hire towels if necessary - please ask.
Logs provide free of charge and an initial supply of coal. Purchase extra locally.
Booking: A cottage is not booked until one
half of the total hire charge
has been received and confirmed by us in writing.
Balance of the hire charge:
The hirer upon booking becomes responsible for the whole of the charge and the
balance must be paid six weeks before commencement of the
holiday.
The number of people occupying a cottage shall not exceed the number stated.
Cancellation: Should the hirer wish to cancel they shall immediately notify us and we will endeavour to re-let the cottage. If we are successful the cancellation will be accepted and a refund made (Less 25% of the total hire charge). If we are not successful the hirer remains responsible for the full balance of the charge.
Booking period: The bookings are from Saturday to Saturday with arrival between 3.00pm and 7.00pm, departure not later than 10.00am. (unless arranged differently by agreement)
Linen: Beds must not be used without appropriate linen (a duvet cover, bottom sheet and pillowcases). Visitors are most welcome to bring their own linen instead of using ours.
Equipment: The hirer undertakes to report any equipment or
furnishings lost, broken or damaged and may be requested to pay for
them.
Unsuitable substitutes are not accepted. The hirer also undertakes to
leave the cottage in a good, clean order at the end of their stay
Dogs: Guests who bring dogs undertake not to leave them unattended, to keep them off soft furnishings, and to ensure they don't disturb other guests, or foul communal areas.
